Websites built
to do a job.
A website should make the business clearer, easier to trust and easier to act on. We plan, design and build practical WordPress websites around what the business actually needs to achieve.

Three jobs, before
anything else.
Design opinions are easy. These are the things a business website has to get right.
Make the business clear
Someone should understand what you do, who it is for and why it matters, without having to work at it.
Build confidence
The site should look and behave like a business worth buying from. Slow, broken or visibly dated does real commercial damage.
Create a useful next step
An enquiry, a call or a purchase should be obvious and easy. A website that leads nowhere is just a brochure.
Built around the job,
not a package tier.
Most projects fall into one of these. The shape of the work follows the business, not a price list.
Business and corporate websites
A clear, credible site for a business that needs to explain itself properly, be found, and be taken seriously by the people checking it out.
Lead generation websites
Built around enquiries: the journey through the page, the forms, where the enquiry goes next, and the tracking that shows whether it is working.
Online stores with WooCommerce
Products, cart and checkout on WordPress, with the reporting to see what is actually selling and where people drop out.
Custom WordPress requirements
Integrations with systems you already run, specific functionality, or a build that does not fit the usual shape.
The fundamentals are
part of the build.
Not add-ons priced separately once you have committed. This is what a website needs in order to work at all.
Strategy and structure
Goals, audience, the pages you actually need, and the journey through them. Agreed before anyone opens a design tool.
Responsive design
Designed deliberately for desktop, tablet and mobile, rather than squeezed down afterwards and hoped for the best.
WordPress CMS
You can edit your own content after launch. That is the entire point of building on a content management system.
Search foundations
Sensible site structure, on-page SEO, metadata and sitemaps submitted to Google Search Console. Foundations, not a ranking promise.
Analytics and conversion tracking
Google Analytics, Tag Manager, goal and conversion tracking, and advertising pixels where you run ads, set up as part of the build.
E-commerce and integrations
WooCommerce where you sell online, plus connections to the tools the business already depends on.
Four stages. No mystery
in the middle.
You will know what stage the work is at, and what is needed from you, throughout.
Understand
Business goals, audience, what the current site does and does not do, and what content already exists.
Structure
Sitemap, page hierarchy and the journeys that matter, agreed before any visual design begins.
Design
Visual direction and the page layouts that carry the most weight, reviewed with you before build.
Build and launch
WordPress development, responsive QA, tracking, deployment and a handover you can work with.
Real sites, for
real businesses.
Three builds in three different industries. Each one had a different job to do.
A platform you are
not stuck inside.
We build on WordPress because it keeps the business in control of its own website after the project ends. That matters more than it sounds like it should.
- You can edit it. WordPress is a content management system, so updating your own text, images and pages does not require us.
- It is not a niche platform. Developers, plugins and documentation are everywhere, so you are not dependent on one agency's private system.
- It handles selling. WooCommerce adds a store without moving the business to a different platform.
Clear scope before
the build starts.
We do not publish one price for every website, because the work genuinely differs. What we do instead is agree the scope and the fee in writing before anything starts, so you know what is being built and what it costs.
The foundations below are what we scope in from the start rather than raise later as extras. The agreed scope is what determines exactly how much of each is implemented. If there are separate costs, such as a premium plugin licence or third-party software, we make those clear upfront rather than at the invoice.
What moves the number:
- How many pages, and what kind of pages they are.
- How much content needs writing, editing or migrating.
- Whether you are selling online.
- Integrations with systems the business already uses.
- Custom functionality beyond a standard build.
Core foundations we scope upfront:
- WordPress setup and a site you can edit.
- Responsive design across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- On-page SEO, metadata and sitemaps.
- Analytics, Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
- Advertising pixels where you run ads.
Things worth asking
before you commit.
If something is not answered here, ask us directly.
Can we update the website ourselves?+
Yes, and that is exactly why we build on WordPress. You get a content management system, so text, images and pages can be changed without coming back to us for every small edit.
Why do you build on WordPress?+
It is a mature, widely supported platform rather than a proprietary builder only one agency understands. Your team can edit content, other developers can work on it, and WooCommerce is there if you need to sell online later.
Can you build an online store?+
Yes. We build stores on WooCommerce, which runs inside the same WordPress site, so products, content and reporting stay in one place.
Is SEO included?+
The foundations are part of the build: sensible site structure, on-page SEO, metadata and sitemaps submitted to Google Search Console. That is different from an ongoing SEO programme, which is separate work and quoted separately. Nobody can promise rankings, and we will not.
Do you set up analytics and tracking?+
Yes, as part of the build. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion and goal tracking, and advertising pixels where you run ads. If you use other tools such as a heatmap platform or CRM, we can scope the required setup or integration with you.
How long does a website take?+
It depends on the scope, and honestly it depends on you as much as us. Early input, timely feedback and content being ready are what usually decide the pace. We will give you a realistic timeline once the scope is agreed rather than a number before we know what we are building.
